ON MEMORIES AND DREAMS

"Never let your memories be greater than your dreams." Doug Ivester
The essence of this peace of wisdom is that let us not be tied up by our past, especially our bad memories. We need to be looking forward through our dreams.  Some of us blame our parents for being poor; others tend to blame the schools we have gone; others are blaming our black skin complexion; others blame being born in Africa etc! We need to be liberated from such memories if we will ever achieve something in life. I am told Lupita Nyon'go overcame these obstacles especially on hating her African descent. Now she the first African to own an Oscar award!
