We all know that Christopher Columbus was the first European explorer to step in the land that was shut out out from the 'then' world (North America). It took not only faith to get there, but also a daunting courage. With simple maritime technology, he traveled with his colleagues for months in the vast Atlantic and Pacific oceans. In these months he encountered storms; misunderstanding with his sail crews who lacked faith and courage, yet he resolved to realize his dream. Some of us today are afraid to cross even rivers! So after this experience, he exclaimed, ""You can never cross the ocean until you've the COURAGE to lose sight of the shore." So the question returns back to you, are ready to lose sight of the shore of self condemnation; the shore of the ordinary; the shore of conventional understanding; the shore of sickness; the shore of poverty; the shore of low self esteem? It needs COURAGE to cross the ocean ahead of you as you write the history of the world in your own pages! Wishing you a happy crossing in 2014!
