University of the West of England offers master scholarship for the students from developing Commonwealth countries. One full tuition fee scholarship will be available for an outstanding student to study a one year masters programme at University of the West of England. Applicants must have an unconditional offer by 31 May of a place to study a one year postgraduate programme at UWE which they have firmly accepted. Application deadline is 31st May 2014.

Eligibility: To be eligible, students must:
-have achieved the equivalent of a British 1st in their undergraduate degree
-have an unconditional offer by 31 May of a place to study a one year postgraduate programme at UWE which they have firmly accepted
-be a new student and be classed as overseas for fees purposes
-not be a sponsored student or in receipt of another scholarship/award.

Scholarship Open for International Students: The students of Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bangladesh ,Barbados, Belize ,Bermuda ,Botswana, Cameroon ,Cayman Islands, Dominica ,Falkland Islands, Gambia, Ghana, Gibraltar, Grenada, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Montserrat, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, St Helena, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and The Grenadines, Samoa, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, Tanzania, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Virgin Islands (British) and Zambia can apply for the scholarship.
Scholarship Description: One full tuition fee scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding student to study a one year Masters programme. This scholarship commemorates the progressive thinking and contribution to education of Professor Arthur Li, who has been at the forefront of education reform in Hong Kong and holds an honorary degree from UWE.
Number of award(s): One scholarship will be offered.
Duration of award(s): Scholarship will be offered for one year.
What does it cover? The scholarship will provide full tuition fee.
Selection Criteria: Applicants are selected based on academic merit and the information that is provided in their application form and statement.
Notification: Applicants will be informed of our decision by 30th June 2014 via your welcome website.
