Many a time when we see a successful person, or a person whose life did not end up well, we judge the harvest and not the seeds planted. I think the above maxim makes a lot of sense. We need to go to the roots. The swahili expression goes, "apndaye bangi, atavuna bangi" [he who plants marijuana seedlings, will harvest marijuana crop']
