Humanity and Power

                    "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." Abraham Lincoln

 These words were spoken by the most celebrated US president, Honest Abe. His wonderful career made him speak that. I agree with him in principle. Throughout my life I have seen people who when they were into power they became lions. But when they were deposed, they became lambs. Then one wonders, what is the necessity of changing from a carnivore to a herbivore!  This truth cuts across not only in secular politics but also in religious realms. I pray that power may not test my life. Have a good working day!
